Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on July 11, 1996. At the age of 10 older, her parents bought her a guitar. This was the basis of her musical passion. In the age of 13 she began covering music she liked on YouTube in order to show viewers that she had talent and was able to make the decision to pursue an opportunity as a musician. The cover she did, Sweater Weather, was the first thing that made her famous. EP Entertainment gave her an opportunity to develop and write her own songs.
